Yonomi Consumer App Onboarding Redesign

Overview

Comprehensive redesign (visual, UI, and interaction) of Yonomi's consumer-facing mobile app that allows homeowners to control all of their smart home devices in one place regardless of brand. By looking at in-app analytics, we recognized where users were falling off the happy path. We hypothesized the more steps a user completed in the onboarding flow, the more likely they were to re-engage with the app. We were correct! After a redesign of the onboarding flow, user retention increased. Note: The Yonomi consumer mobile app was sunset after Yonomi was acquired by Allegion and is no longer available.
